Weekend ni saya agak sibuk sikit. Petang ni nak kena pergi keroje la pulak. Hai...ingatkan dah makin tuan ni bolehlah rileks sikit. Tapi nampaknya...
Jadi untuk habuan kawan-kawan semua, minggu ni saya ambil jalan mudah. Saya nak jemput (kalau sudi la) tuan/puan untuk tengok suatu catatan lama di blog saya sahaja.
Ianya berkenaan pengalaman "balik kampong" saya ke Blackpool pada Disember lepas.

Thanks Azizi for your blogs and photos.Have always wanted to 'balik kampong'Blackpool though had been to London and other places on 2 occasions.InsyaAllah hope to be able to do so in the near future.In the mean time your photos dapat mengubat rindu pada 'tempat jatuh lagi di kenang inikan pula tempat bermain(belajar juga..)
ReplyDeleteWhen was your first experience of snow?Those mysterious white wonder you've seen on tv and films and long to touch and feel...I had the date jotted down in my diary lest I forget.How could I not when I had been waiting for it ever since autumn turned to winter.The reddish brown hues have long gone leaving the trees baring its silhouette against the dark gloomy winter days and nights.I woke up the morning of 2nd December 1978 to a sight I'll never forget...there was snow everywhere on the roofs,roads,grounds and the white flakes were still falling silently,like a beautiful surprise...Alhamdulillah.
ReplyDeleteDuring one of our trips to London we were invited to a young Mauritian couple home for dinner.They fetched us in their closed commercial van.We had to sit at the back amidst the biscuit tins.That was a ride one of a kind...

ReplyDeleteCollege ini sungguh nalstolgic bila mengingatinya. Tapi apakan daya memory tak brp kuat dah. September 1977 itulah tarikh saya dan kawan kawan yg lain berada disitu. Sebahagian bawah sponsor KP dok building lain dan sebahagian bawah JPA dok Technical block. Mula mula dok kat Bandar, bergegar cermin rumah pagi pagi kerana rumah dekat dgn traffic light. Dok tingkat atas, bawah landlord buat printing. Bilek air atas ofis dia, apa lagi selalu bocor sbb org Melayu suka mandi... Sblm tu dok kat tepi pantai, promenade sama dgn Zaidi, Senior Mgt Amin dan Che Mazlan. Last sekali dok Cleveleys, jauh ke Utara.
